LaForet Catering, a leading culinary service in Barrie, Ontario, needed their first website. The project involved developing their complete digital presence, creating an engaging platform that showcases their menu offerings and streamlines customer requests for events and consultations.

Wireframes and mood boards were created featuring food photography and venue galleries, balancing elegant design with an approachable feel. Regular collaboration with LaForet's team helped refine the visual direction to establish them as Barrie's premier catering service.

Project execution

The website was built using Astro.build for fast performance, Tailwind CSS for clean styling, and Strapi CMS for easy content management. Figma designs were transformed into reusable components to maintain consistency across the site.

This system allows LaForet's team to effortlessly update menus, galleries, and testimonials through a user-friendly dashboard. Development focused on optimizing images and menu displays, creating a responsive website that performs beautifully on all devices while maintaining the sophisticated aesthetic that reflects their culinary expertise.
